The recent resurfacing project involved the profiling, priming, and asphalting of 5,971m². Over the course of four days, Swarly Road Construction successfully completed all phases of the work. On Day 1, we supplied and operated a 2-meter profiler to mill the surface to a nominal 60mm depth, including the cartage and on-site disposal of the material. Day 2 saw the application of AMC00 prime at a rate of 0.8 L/m² to ensure proper bonding. Days 3 and 4 involved the supply, laying, and compaction of 896 tonnes of AC14 asphalt A15E binder across two days, at a consistent 60mm depth. The project also included a full paving crew, secondary paver, operators, cartage, and tack, where required. The project was completed efficiently and to the highest standards, ensuring a durable, long-lasting surface.
The Nolans Meats project in Gympie involved the extension of the existing staff carpark, along with a full resurfacing of the carpark and road entrance. Spanning over 15,000m² and utilizing more than 1,200 tonnes of asphalt, the project was completed in just 2 days. Our team efficiently managed the works, including priming and asphalt cartage with our own fleet.
The recent project at Regency Downs involved the prime and asphalting of a small subdivision spanning 3,450m², completed in two stages. The team first applied K2 24-hour prime over the entire area to ensure proper bonding for the asphalt layer. Following the priming, a total of 304.64 tonnes of Type 2 320 asphalt were supplied, laid, and compacted at a nominal 30mm depth. The project was carried out efficiently with a full paving crew, operators, and all required cartage and materials, resulting in a durable and smooth surface.
For the 600-tonne housing subdivision, located nearly an hour from the nearest asphalt supply plant, we ensured seamless coordination and on-time delivery. Using the latest CAT paving equipment and a fleet of walking floor trucks for efficient material transport, our experienced team completed the entire project in a single shift. We also conducted full asphalt material testing, with all asphalt cores conforming to the highest quality standards, guaranteeing the durability and reliability of the finished product.
On one of the busiest roads in Willawong, we completed the reconstruction and resurfacing of nearly 500 meters of road, including over 1,000 tonnes of deep lift and 600 tonnes of wearing course. Despite working on a restricted road space during dayshift, we delivered the project on time and within budget. Our client was highly satisfied with both our efficiency and our strict adherence to PPE and SWMS requirements, ensuring safety on the active site.
